Smithson International Truck Museum and Pas-Ka-Poo ParkIn 1964 the “group of 7” started a mission to preserve history on 10 acres of the picturesque PasKaPoo Historic Park, home to the first 1901 buildings of the town. An Anglican “Vertical Log Constriction” church and other buildings from main street Rimbey and area were brought to the Park. Four more Museum buildings have since been added exhibiting a diverse collection depicting the history of area pioneers.

Smithson International Truck Museum boasts the most complete collection of International ½ ton trucks in the world. With the growing collection of vintage tractors and farming equipment the museum acknowledges the contribution of International Harvester on our community. Our fully functioning restoration shop tackles ongoing projects anywhere from plows to tractors, which fill the Historic Tractor Museum and surrounding acres.

Museum staff and volunteers are excited to provide a step back in time as you journey through PasKaPoo Park and all it has to offer.
