Who was Edmonton’s Major-General who also served as a city alderman, “Boy” mayor, MLA, MP and senator? Who was “Big Jim” Stone and how did he earn a US Presidential Citation in Korea? Who was Lestock the Coyote and what was his connection with Winnie the Pooh? For the answer to these questions and to view some of the over 10,000 artefacts including uniforms, medals, firearms, memorabilia, archival materials and photographs, visit The Loyal Edmonton Regiment Military Museum.

Located in the historic Prince of Wales Armouries Heritage Centre, the museum focuses primarily on the history of service of The Loyal Edmonton Regiment and other Canadian Armed Forces units in Edmonton and Northern Alberta. Our collection spans from the late nineteenth century to the present. The museum public areas include two large galleries plus seven hallway display cabinets, all of which are open to the public admission free.
