A fantastic midsized museum featuring standard exhibits, an open air village and aspects of living history areas. A great place for multi-generational sharing with 23 buildings with over 10,000 artifacts and growing! Of special note is the indoor street housing 12 exhbits depicting th e1930s. Village area includes an iconic 1 room school, small church, 3 houses depicting 1895 to 1915, a liver stable, blacksmith shop, town hall, trapper's cabin and more. The Tea House, which offers home made lunches and desserts, is open Fridays and Saturdays from mid-May to the end of September. With a shade park on the grounds it's also a great place for a picnic.
