Galt Museum & ArchivesThe Galt Museum & Archives in Lethbridge is an established cultural leader in southern Alberta, having contributed to the fabric of the region since the 1964. Its consistently high-calibre, award-winning exhibits and learning opportunities have drawn visitors from across the globe who return for the extensive collections, professionally administered archives and a great selection of ongoing interpretive programs and events. The Museum Store is a shopping destination, featuring exhibit and local mementos including Ammolite: Lethbridge’s official gemstone. The 1910 Galt Hospital wing of the Museum now houses the Education Centre, where meeting rooms enhance the Galt’s “community meeting place” vision.

Kids of all ages are immersed in the history of Southwestern Alberta in the permanent hands-on exhibit. Experience the culture of the Kainai people.
