Sundre MuseumCome and take an imaginary trip around the world with us and view over 150 wildlife mounts, from all but two continents, ranging from an elephant and giraffe to a porcupine and skunk. The Chester Mjolsness World of Wildlife is unique in that it is the work and effort of just one man. See the amazing taxidermy, murals, and depictions of natural habitat including rainforest, mountains, arctic, and desert. The most common expression heard out of our visitor’s mouths when they see this exhibit is WOW!!

You can also travel back in time and see what life was like as a pioneer. Visit our Sundre Pioneer Village Museum located on four acres of land and houses many buildings that represent our local history. These buildings include a school house, log cabin, ferryman’s house, barn, blacksmith shop, trappers cabin, and the Red Deer Ranger Station. Bring a picnic lunch and have a picnic in the park!
