Head-Smashed-In - a UNESCO World Heritage Site - has been used continuously by aboriginal peoples of the plains nearly 6,000 years and is one of the world's oldest, largest, and best preserved buffalo jumps.

Historic Markerville Creamery Museum

In 1902, the Markerville Creamery opened its doors bringing prosperity to the tiny Icelandic hamlet. The Creamery became a leader within the agricultural sector. The Creamery closed its doors in 1972, and the Museum opened in 1986, housing artifacts in the original building. Interpreters guide you through the butter making process and share secrets that exist within the walls.
