Fox Creek Museum

The Fox Creek Museum may be a small building but it is packed with treasures. It is operated by the Fox Creek Historical Association which also maintains an archival collection for the area. The building is wheelchair accessible and everyone is welcome. There is a picnic area, playground and campsite nearby.

The historical exhibits highlight a variety of subjects, such as the history of Fox Creek, the Edson – Grande Prairie Trail, the oil and gas industry and the wildlife in our forest. Visitors can admire the wildlife taxidermy, use a moose call, check out the geological exhibits, and learn about the oil and gas industry in our area. The switchboard, sewing machine and a display showing examples of merchandise sold at our first store will bring back fond memories.

The Fox Creek Museum is across from the Tourist Information Building and is visible from Highway 43.
