Come walk the boardwalks chronicling our pioneer past at the Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village. Here, you can experience how the western Canadian frontier shaped Pincher Creek in becoming the third oldest surviving settlement in Alberta. Relive the past by touring through our 24 authentically exhibited heritage buildings surrounded by visually stunning grounds.

Experience stepping back in time while inside Kootenai Brown's 1883 cabin, the 1878 NWMP Horse Barn, the Waldrond Ranch House and many other local historical buildings. Join us for any number of exciting heritage events throughout the year including Canada Day. School groups are encouraged to ask about our educational programs. Engage ina guided tour of the Village or a historical walking tour of the community.
